If there is one man in the culture of professional football who is unmistakable in appearance, it’s former Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka.

From the sharp hair to the gruff posture and unmistakable mustache, it wouldn’t be hard at all to pick him out from a crowd. There’s a reason he’s one of the most recognizable personalities in the NFL. He’s cultivated that sort of image for a long time. In addition of course to being one of the most legendary sound bytes of all-time.

So it’s fair to ask what in the world got into Fox News? During their Fox & Friends show, the camera panned to what everyone thought would be Ditka. Instead they were greeted with a face that is most definitely not “Da Coach.”

The man in the picture is in fact Jason Whitlock, the co-host of “Speak For Yourself” on FS1. It’s unclear whether the label on camera meant to display his name or if Ditka was supposed to be in the shot and it was simply mistimed. Either way it made for an infinitely hilarious oops moment. Already the photo is spreading like dust in the wind across social media. No doubt Fox is going to be at the wrong end of several jokes for the next few days.
