2018 NFL Draft: Quarterback stock report, week two
2018 NFL Draft: The year of the QB is off to a strong start in college football. How did Josh Rosen, Lamar Jackson, and Sam Darnold fare in week two?
Stat Line: 22-of-25 passing, 359 yards, 5 touchdowns
As far as the 2018 NFL Draft is concerned, Josh Rosen’s stock should be soaring.
After a slow start against Texas A&M ended in one of the most epic comeback wins of the first week of college football, Rosen was smelling blood in the water against Hawai’i in the second game of the year.
Even after just two games to start the season, I don’t think it would be a stretch at this point to declare Rosen is the most pro-ready quarterback prospect in college football.
Much of it has to do with the pro-style offense UCLA runs, orchestrated by Jedd Fisch, but Rosen is doing a great job of making reads, scanning the field, and making pre-snap adjustments as well.
This is obviously a guy who has an NFL arm and understands when to put a little extra behind the ball, and when to put some more touch on it. His performance against Hawai’i was one of pure dominance. His stock is clearly on the rise.
