3. The return of Rob Gronkowski

Rob Gronkowski, back again.

The NFL’s leader in touchdown catches since 2010 (68) says he’s ‘leaner and meaner’ and ready for a big season coming off of injury last year.

Gronkowski has certainly had his share of health issues throughout his NFL career, but the impact he makes when at full strength is undeniable.

The Chiefs — along with every other team in the NFL — have really no answer for him, other than to double cover him and leave another area of the field vulnerable. Gronkowski is just too athletic, too strong, and too good.

Kansas City certainly doesn’t lack for defensive playmakers, and with the Patriots a man down at receiver, containing Gronk could be a bit more do-able. That said, it’s always fun to watch this guy play, and especially in this game where he’ll be doing his best to one-up the tight end on the other offense, Travis Kelce.
