The Denver Broncos’ defense has a few really nice players at the inside linebacker position, but do the Broncos have a long-term option alongside Brandon Marshall?

Todd Davis seems to have a huge vote of confidence from the coaching staff in Denver right now, but it can’t hurt to add someone for depth and especially someone like Jewell who has the potential to be an eventual starter.

Jewell has great range and from the inside linebacker position, he plays both the run and pass extremely well.

There’s no question the Broncos have some playmakers on the defensive side of the football, but the speed of Jewell and his ability to read and react to plays could make them even scarier. I think Jewell would fit in nicely with Brandon Marshall as an inside linebacker that can blitz, play the run, and match up in coverage as well.
