The Broncos have some interesting goings on at the edge positions. DeMarcus Ware retired this past offseason, and both Shane Ray and Shaquil Barrett have had to work their way back from injury at some point or another this offseason.

When healthy, the Broncos have three rushers led by Von Miller that can be awesome together, but they only have Barrett under team control for one more season after 2017, so getting a player in the 2018 NFL Draft to eventually take that third rusher spot.

The one thing that could prevent this type of selection is if the Broncos are pleased with the development of DeMarcus Walker as an outside linebacker, and they choose to keep him there rather than move him to the defensive line.

Armstrong is an ascending prospect who is still growing into his frame, and really came on last season in terms of production. He racked up 20 tackles for loss and 10 sacks along with three forced fumbles.

This is a player that can make plays in the backfield for a defense, and the Broncos would do well to get him in the second round.
