Josh Rosen put on a show in the fourth quarter of UCLA’s stunning comeback win over Texas A&M in college football’s opening week…
Josh Rosen has made some headlines for his comments off the football field. Forgotten in all of that is how great this young man is at playing the game of football.
We were all reminded of how good Rosen is during UCLA’s epic comeback over Texas A&M, where Rosen threw a whopping four touchdown passes in the fourth quarter.
Down 44-10 at one point, Rosen led the Bruins to one of the most awesome fourth quarter comebacks you will see. Here’s a a cut-up of the entire game:
Rosen threw for 491 yards and four touchdowns in this game, completing 35-of-59 passes. He wasn’t perfect throughout the whole game, but he showed NFL scouts exactly why he’s going to be tough to pass up on with a top 10 selection.
There have been some rumors that Rosen doesn’t care or isn’t passionate about football, rumors he addressed in a revealing interview with Bleacher Report, but this game is an indication of the exact opposite of apathy.

Rosen didn’t try to make this comeback on one throw. He wasn’t overly aggressive. He started picking apart the Texas A&M defense one throw at a time. He was making smart reads, and putting the ball on time, giving his receivers plenty of time to make plays after the catch.
Even though one of the turning points of the game was on a throw Rosen should have never made (and was nearly intercepted), this game is one of the clearest indicators we have seen up to this point of the fact that Rosen is destined to be a big time quarterback at the next level.
His poise in this type of situation and the competitive fire he showed will all translate to the next level. The questions about his coachability and his outspoken personality will have to be addressed and carefully calculated in NFL front offices.
After this game, though, there’s no question about this one thing — Josh Rosen can play some football, and he’s a big time NFL talent.
