Chicago Bears: 5 Things People Missed In Titans Win
By Erik Lambert
The play of reserve ILBs Nick Kwiatkoski and Christian Jones
All of a sudden the Bears look incredibly deep up the middle. Particularly at inside linebacker This was showcased by how well their two primary reserves Nick Kwiatkoski and Christian Jones played. Kwiatkoski logged five tackles including an impressive one where he dropped in coverage and drilled a wide receiver right as he caught the ball to prevent a first down.
Jones was just as good, if not better. The highlight above shows how much he’s progressed at the position from where he was even just last year. He’s starting to trust his eyes and is reacting rather than thinking. Given his still considerable upside and special teams value, this is a bonus development for an already pretty good front seven.
