The Chicago Bears roster is one of the most overturned and retooled in the NFL at this point courtesy of GM Ryan Pace and his staff.

One of the things they’ve systematically done is get rid of almost every draft pick made by previous GM Phil Emery. Among the few that remain is former 1st rounder Kyle Fuller. For a time it looked like the young cornerback was finding his way in the new defensive system. He finished 2015 strong and was poised for a breakout in 2016. Then he injured his knee and was done for the year. In that interim the team loaded up on more cornerbacks.

Now his status on the team is cloudier than ever. Some believe it’s only a matter of time before he’s cut, though Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune hinted strongly at a trade. If that’s the case, what teams could possibly be destinations?

Here are three to keep a close watch on.

More from NFL Mocks

Atlanta Falcons

The suspension announcement of Jalen Collins was yet another blow for the Atlanta Falcons. Their cornerback situation was already a bit suspect dating back to last season. Sure they reached the Super Bowl, but they had the 28th ranked pass defense. Lack of overall talent and depth at corner was a big reason why Tom Brady eventually shredded them late in that game. Fuller may not be the ideal solution but head coach Dan Quinn is good with defensive backs. This might be a favorable landing spot.

Carolina Panthers

Another NFC South team that runs a 4-3 variation scheme. Ron Rivera no doubt still laments the lost of All-Pro Josh Norman last year. A loss the Carolina Panthers still haven’t recovered from. Of course Fuller isn’t Norman but he’s still a talent who fits their type of system. Given what the team has at present, which is not a lot then such a move might be in their best interests. He would give them another young option to tinker with.

New England Patriots

Why would the defending champions be interested in such a move? Especially after signing Stephon Gilmore and trading for Eric Rowe. Two reason. First it’s exactly their kind of move. Acquire a young former high draft choice and see if a proven system coaxes him out of his shell. The other is they seem to have an affinity for draft picks by former Bears GM Phil Emery. Already they traded for linebacker Jonathan Bostic and signed former 1st rounder Shea McClellin. Given how Bill Belichick loves to stockpile DBs, this isn’t a hard sell.
