Tarik Cohen (4th Round)

If there is anybody that has become the darling of fans so soon into this season, it’s definitely running back Tarik Cohen. People love an underdog and it doesn’t get much bigger (pun intended) than this. Cohen not only comes from a Division II program at North Carolina A&T, he’s also a scant 5’6″ in height. He’s a small man in a big man’s game. That means he has to do certain things special in order to have any impact at all.

Like Darren Sproles in Philadelphia, his game is about speed, quickness and agility. Get him in open space and it becomes difficult to get a bead on him. Fans saw that at Soldier Field. Cohen looked like he would be stuffed up the middle on back-to-back plays but then cut to the outside for a total of 16 yards gained. Try to imagine how effective he could be when the creative plays start getting installed and defenses are winded on the field.
