2018 NFL Mock Draft: Trade Winds Blow Early

Virginia Tech. Adonis Alexander . 29. player. 36. Richard Sherman is leaving. All signs point to it. The money is becoming a problem. His dominant play has slackened and he’s also becoming a bit too outspoken for his own good. That’s not to say he’s wrong about a lot of what he’s saying, but it’s still a distraction. The team has tried to keep the band together as long as possible, but a breakup seem inevitable at this point and it’s always the front man to leave first. <p>No doubt after that happens the Seahawks will immediately try to replace him with an exact replica. That is to say a big, athletic corner who can play physical but retains enough speed to cover on the outside. Adonis Alexander fits that bill coming out of Virginia Tech. He’s every bit of 6’3″ with decent speed and plays a tough, in-your-face style that is typical of players from that program.</p>. CB
