The veteran is not their future and neither is 3rd round pick C.J. Beathard, no matter how hard they try to sell it. This team is going to struggle in 2017 and be in line for another high pick. That will be the window for GM John Lynch to get the QB he’ll build around. <p>Josh Allen is much more the talent level the 49ers will need in order to get back into the NFC West picture. He’s probably got the strongest arm in the class, able to make throws on the run that most couldn’t make with their feet set. He’s a tremendous athlete with good size as well. He just isn’t refined as a passer. He’s a gunslinger in ever sense of the word. Kyle Shanahan will have to break him down and build him back up.</p>. QB. Wyoming. Josh Allen
