6. Los Angeles Rams

DE. Boston College. Harold Landry . 6. player. 51. The key to Wade Phillips’ long-term success as a defensive coordinator is the pass rush. He’s been a master for years at getting the most out of his defensive fronts when it came to attacking quarterbacks. As of now he has Robert Quinn and Aaron Donald to work with in Los Angeles but Quinn has fallen off a bit over the past couple seasons. The Rams may want to fortify their edge rush with another young talent.
Harold Landry will remind Phillips a lot of Von Miller in that he’s capable of player either edge position but fits best as a 3-4 outside linebacker. Even when he wasn’t getting his 16.5 sacks last year, he was always a presence that quarterbacks felt. That’s the sort of consistent impact that the top rushers have. Put Landry under the guidance of Phillips and it’s going to be fun to watch.
