31. New England Patriots

Josh Sweat . 31. player. 47. The New England Patriots have always been a team with a clear goal in mind. They want smart football players who can do more than one thing on the field, regardless of offense or defense. It’s a big reason they’ve been so successful for so long. Just look to their defensive front seven for an idea, which has undergone massive changes between their two championship years in 2014 and 2016.
Part of the reason is they’ve consistently moved pieces in and out of the lineup when money becomes a factor. Drafting Josh Sweat will be their kind of move. An underrated athlete who has the capacity to play both defensive end and linebacker depending on scheme and situation. He can definitely rush the passer and has other qualities that fit the Patriot Way.
. OLB. Florida State
