29. New York Giants

OLB. Ohio State. Tyquan Lewis . 29. player. 31. The New York Giants have always been built around great linebackers who could rush the passer. They had interest in Leonard Floyd last year but missed out. Since then they’re still searching for that outside presence who can play traditional linebacker but also brings added value as QB hunter. It’s not an easy position to play and will require somebody with a good degree of athleticism.
Luckily Ohio State is always ready to provide for such needs. Tyquan Lewis moved between defensive end and outside linebacker for the Buckeyes and showed aptitude for both. He’s got enough size for end but could easily slim down to play linebacker if asked. He’s got movement skills, length and understands how to find-ball-get-ball. He’s still working on some fundamental issues but is progressing steadily.
