27. Green Bay Packers

OLB. Missouri. Marcell Frazier . 27. player. 49. The departure of Julius Peppers has left the Green Bay Packers outside linebacker position in a foggy state. Clay Matthews remains in place and Nick Perry is coming off his best season with 11 sacks. Outside of those two though? A lot of unknowns. Hopes are high that Kyler Fackrell will step up after a year mostly riding the bench in reserve, but that’s no guarantee. Don’t be surprised if the team must bolster that spot next year.
That’s exactly what they do in this case. Missouri has become a factory for pass rushers in recent years including Aldon Smith, Kony Ealy, Shane Ray and Markus Golden. Now Charles Harris is their latest 1st round pick and it’s looking like Marcell Frazier is in the on deck circle. He came on strong to end last season and exhibits many of the same qualities the others possessed. He’s got strength, quickness, length and just an instinct for getting after it.
