18. Indianapolis Colts

46. Ask the question over and over and the answer remains the same. What has Andrew Luck not had that is vital to his ascent back to the top of the AFC? For the Indianapolis Colts it’s hard to argue that it’s a running game. For years they’ve tried to build a complimentary backfield for the Pro Bowl quarterback but thus far with mostly mixed results. It’s high time they got somebody who can carry the load for real.
Derrius Guice certainly seems poised to take that step at LSU. He was brilliant filling in for an injured Leonard Fournette in 2016. He’s on the shorter side but boasts a compact frame with plenty of power to handle the physical running of that Tigers offense. He’s also got some breakaway ability, which will lend a big hand in the passing game. There isn’t much more they could want.
. RB. LSU. Derrius Guice . 18. player
