One could argue the Cleveland Browns don’t deserve him having failed to reach the playoffs once in his brilliant career. Either way it’s time for the team to look to the future. Thomas isn’t sticking around much longer and they have a young quarterback to think about. <p>Martinas Rankin did the job of protecting Dak Prescott in 2015, so he knows something about keeping the merchandise undamaged. He’s a big, strong and versatile lineman who can play on the edge at tackle or inside if needed. Can he replace Thomas? No. Nobody can. Talents like Thomas come around once-in-a-lifetime.
