10. Los Angeles Chargers

The offense was the focus of the draft in 2017 for obvious reasons. Smart money says the Los Angeles Chargers will shift the other way next year. This is a unit that is really close to becoming one of the best in the NFL with a core of Joey Bosa, Casey Heyward, and Jatavis Brown already in place. Two or three more quality pieces and this group could really be set for big things. That could start early in 2018.
Minkah Fitzpatrick is exactly the sort of talent they’ll love. He’s athletic enough to play cornerback but big and tough enough for safety. Best of all he’s got a nose for the football, snagging six interception in 2016 for Alabama. Crimson Tide defensive backs tend to do well in the pros. They’re smart, talented and well-coached. Nothing is a guarantee in the draft but they could do a lot worse than him.
. CB. Alabama.
