Six reasons the Dallas Cowboys are going to nosedive in 2017
The Dallas Cowboys have seemingly regressed significantly on paper from a year ago. Here’s why they’re in for a big fall in 2017…
1. Ezekiel Elliott’s antics
The Dallas Cowboys are due to come crashing back to earth in a big way in 2017, and one of the main reasons is a lack of sense by their young star running back, Ezekiel Elliott.
This isn’t Elliott’s first off-field incident, even if he is proven innocent. The fact that he keeps putting himself in these types of situations is mind-boggling.
Already arguably the best running back in the game, Elliott needs to follow the advice given by LaVar Ball and ‘stay in his lane’. You’re an NFL superstar — act like it.
It’s clear that Elliott can’t handle the fame. Shortly after he was drafted by the Cowboys, a woman sent out Snapchat photos of Elliott passed out in bed with her. This offseason, video surfaced of him repeatedly pulling down the top of another woman on St. Patrick’s Day.
He’s also under investigation for a 2016 domestic violence allegation.
There’s a very real chance Elliott is looking at a suspension and perhaps rightfully so. The guy just doesn’t know how to stay out of trouble, it seems like.
