2017 NFL offseason: Five most underrated player moves
5. Browns sign WR Kenny Britt
Finally, the Cleveland Browns signing wide receiver Kenny Britt was one of my favorite, most underrated moves of the 2017 NFL offseason.
Britt’s NFL career has been cursed by horrendous quarterback play, but he managed to creep over the 1,000 yard mark for the first time in his career in 2016 despite the cluster at quarterback for the LA Rams.
He caught 61.3 percent of his targets last season, and hauled in 68 passes — a career high.
The Browns may have caught lightning in a bottle with Terrelle Pryor at wide receiver, and didn’t give him a big money contract this offseason. When they let Pryor walk, they brought in the much more refined Britt, who looks like he was carved by the Greek gods.

Britt has big play ability, and coming off of one of the most improved years of his career, he looks like he can be a significant asset to the Browns, who are hoping for a resurrection of the franchise.
