4. Bears sign CB Prince Amukamara

The Chicago Bears may not be contending for a title in 2017, but that doesn’t mean they won’t have improved play from their defensive backfield.

He’s not a traditional no. 1 cornerback like we see from players like Chris Harris Jr. or Marcus Peters who can shut down an entire side of the field, but Prince Amukamara is a former first round pick and is a pretty underrated corner.

Amukamara will give up the occasional big play, but heading into his free agent season with Jacksonville, he hadn’t surrendered 100 yards on passes thrown his direction in over 50 games.

He doesn’t commit many penalties, and for the most part, Amukamara is a good cornerback. The Bears certainly need a few of those.
