2016 stats

Amari Cooper: 83 receptions, 1,153 yards, 5 touchdowns

Michael Crabtree: 89 receptions, 1,003 yards, 8 touchdowns

The explosion of the Oakland Raiders’ offense in 2016 was due large in part to the contributions of their wide receiver duo of Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree.

As these two have grown together, so has quarterback Derek Carr. Carr is emerging as one of the elite quarterbacks in the NFL right now, and I think Cooper and Crabtree are great complements in the passing game.

Cooper is one of the best route runners in the league already, and he’s been dominant on big plays downfield. Crabtree is extremely productive and really underrated:

These two receivers make it tough for opposing teams to game plan. You can’t leave one in single coverage for long, or they will pick you apart.
