2016 stats

Julio Jones: 83 receptions, 1,409 yards, 6 touchdowns

Mohamed Sanu: 59 receptions, 653 yards, 4 touchdowns

Julio Jones is a superstar in today’s NFL. He’s efficient and effective in every role he’s asked to play, and he is capable of making plays that other wide receivers simply cannot.

In terms of size, speed, hands, and well-rounded ability, Jones is probably the closest thing we have in today’s NFL to Calvin Johnson. He’s simply unstoppable.

While Mohamed Sanu isn’t a number one caliber receiver, he’s one of the best 1A receivers in the league right now. He didn’t have Pro Bowl numbers in 2016, but he didn’t need to. The Falcons spread the ball around so much, Sanu’s numbers are all the more impressive given his usage.

Sanu also just doesn’t drop passes.

Together, these two provide Matt Ryan with one of the most dynamic wide receiver duos in the NFL today.
