NFL Power Rankings: Top 10 wide receiver duos in 2017
NFL Power Rankings: We take a deeper look at the top 10 best wide receiver duos in the NFL today. Which duo ranks atop our list?
The best wide receiver duo in the NFL?
That would be the Denver Broncos’ dynamic duo of Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders.
2016 Stats
Demaryius Thomas: 90 receptions, 1,083 yards, 5 touchdowns
Emmanuel Sanders: 79 receptions, 1,032 yards, 5 touchdowns
Not surprisingly, the statistical production of this duo has regressed over the past two seasons. Peyton Manning’s play took a significant dive in 2015, and the Broncos struggled through the quarterback position in 2016.
Despite the statistical drop, the Broncos’ wide receiver duo has still been incredibly impactful. Thomas, through a bout of drops, has remained one of the most consistent no. 1 receivers in the NFL. Sanders has been somewhat overlooked by Thomas, and many Broncos fans will even tell you that he’s the more reliable of the two at this point.
These guys are dynamic, and a terror for opposing defenses to have to deal with.
