7. Randy White (Pittsburgh, PA)

 

The 2nd overall pick in 1975, Randy White was an enormous impact for the late 70s Cowboys.  He started as a special teams specialist in his first two seasons, but in 1977 he stepped in as an every down defensive player.  As soon as he became a starting defensive player, “the Manimal” was named to 9 straight Pro-Bowl teams and First-Team All-Pro teams.  He totaled 111 career sacks his career, having him named to the 1980s NFL All-Decade Team.

White was the Co-MVP in the Cowboys’ XII Super Bowl victory.  He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1994.  He was also inducted into the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor.
