NFL: Biggest Offseason Question For Each AFC South Team
When observing the NFL division that is the AFC South, it is easy to see that each team has a lot to look forward to in the future.
This past season, the Houston Texans magically turned what was a disaster at quarterback into a division title and a playoff berth. The dispatching of 2016 starting quarterback Brock Osweiler, the insertion of national championship-winning quarterback Deshaun Watson, and the return of megastar J.J. Watt has Houston natives envisioning a deep playoff run.
Down in Jacksonville, the Jaguars hope that another offseason of writing big checks will equal to consistent success. A new yet familiar face in the front office sure hopes so.
The Indianapolis Colts usher in a bright General Manager in Chris Ballard who has begun to upgrade the team’s pass rushing woes. The ingredients are in place with a strong run game, an improving quarterback, an opportunistic defense, and most importantly, renewed enthusiasm. Let’s jump into the offseason questions for each AFC South squad.
