#2:  DeMarco Murray

Talk about a roller coaster career. Murray broke out of the gates fast as a Dallas Cowboys rookie with 897 yards rushing. Then he regressed in his second year and some started to feel like he was a flash in the pan. More determined than ever he came back with 1,100 yards in 2013 before painting his masterpiece a year later with 1,845 yards. Part of a 2,261-yard season that saw him score 13 touchdowns. That success earned him a nice pay day in free agency.

Unfortunately he made the mistake of taking it from a team that didn’t know how to use him. Murray spent a frustrating season with the rival Philadelphia Eagles before mercifully getting traded to the Tennessee Titans. There he resurrected his career yet again with over 1,200 yards. A three-time Pro Bowler he has now proven beyond a doubt he can carry an offense when the team bothers to feed him the football properly. Something Tennessee plans to continue doing.
