NFL: Titans cornerback Logan Ryan pays brother’s student loans
Logan Ryan REALLY doesn’t like student loans, and the NFL star made sure his brother wouldn’t have to worry about them anymore
Winning two Super Bowls and signing a $30 million contract are just the tips of the iceberg for NFL cornerback Logan Ryan.
After departing New England for the Tennessee Titans this offseason, the former Rutgers starter returned home for his brother’s 29th birthday.
In a picture shared on Instagram, Ryan revealed he would be paying off his older brother’s $82,000 worth of student loans.
With an oversized check in hand, Ryan praised his brother and spoke out against a very overpriced education system.
"“Surprised my big bro and paid off his student loans for his 29th Bday!! My man got accepted to college, graduated with honors, and now works as an engineer. He did everything the right way and still lives with a ridiculous amount of student loan debt. The system is broke and makes no sense!! I’m fortunate and blessed to be able to take care of that for him. Love you big bro you deserve it!! #Family #FinallyFree”"
Ryan earned his three-year contract with Tennessee after four seasons with New England, playing in 64 consecutive regular season games.

Ryan’s gesture is one of many seen by athletes these days as they pay it forward and thank those who helped them in their journeys.
Often it’s buying a house or a car for their parents, but this gesture is just as impactful as either of those gifts.
