5. Jeff Janis, WR, Packers

More from NFL Mocks

The former darling of Draft Twitter, Jeff Janis has managed to carve out a decent role for himself in the NFL. He played over 21 percent of the Packers’ offensive snaps last year, and only two players on the team played more on special teams.

He scored two touchdowns on 13 touches last season, one receiving and one rushing. Janis has always had excellent athletic ability, but the Packers are incredibly deep at wide receiver, and they just drafted two more this year.

This year is the final year of Janis’ rookie contract with the Packers, and he would likely leave to pursue other opportunities anyway.

There’s a chance here for Janis to go to a team that will expand his role offensively, and also get a solid special teams player.
