4. Jalen Ramsey & A.J. Bouye, Jacksonville Jaguars

We haven’t seen these two players together on the field just yet, but it will be a treat to watch the young Jalen Ramsey grow with a very talented player like A.J. Bouye, even more so since the two have taken very different career paths.

Bouye was once an undrafted free agent who has worked his way into a big money contract. Ramsey was considered one of the best players in last year’s draft — period. Here’s why:

Ramsey is only going to continue to get better, and he’ll be tested often with Bouye on the other side of the field.

Both Ramsey and Bouye are playmakers when it comes to going after the football, but at this point I think Bouye is more refined in different coverage techniques. Pro Football Focus credited Bouye with the fewest yards allowed in zone coverage. That was a bit of a surprise to me since Bouye has always also been very good and effective in one-on-one coverage.

He’s the complete package as a cornerback, and will combine with Ramsey to form one of the best duos in the league.
