8. Cincinnati Bengals

8. player. 56. Thus far the Cincinnati Bengals have been living with 4th round picks, almost trying to recreate the same magic they found with Geno Atkins. In truth he’s the exception, not the rule. Maybe Andrew Billings, Marcus Hardison or Ryan Glasgow will become that second dynamic defensive tackles but the odds don’t favorite. More likely all three will be reasonable depth options who can hold a position for somebody better.
Christian Wilkins could be the ideal fit at nose tackle alongside Atkins. He’s first and foremost strong defender who understands how to control the point of attack. He excels at shedding blocks and making tackles in the backfield. This might overshadow his upside as an interior pass rusher. No doubt he has the capacity to become an above average starter with an elite ceiling.
. DT. Clemson. Christian Wilkins
