18. Indianapolis Colts

OLB. Ohio State. Tyquan Lewis . 18. player. 46. GM Chris Ballard inherited a mess on defense for the Indianapolis Colts. It was always going to take time for him to correct all the mistakes made by his predecessor Ryan Grigson. It’s likely going to take at least one more offseason to do so. A way he could potentially accelerate that process is through the pass rush, which is looking fairly weak at the moment even with a couple young bodies added to the fray.
Tyquan Lewis is much what they’re looking for. An athletic but lengthy edge rusher who exhibits the bend and burst to get around tackles to the quarterback. He still hasn’t quite figured out how to finished yet, leaving a number of sacks out on the field in 2016. That said his progression remains on the upswing. He’s already a solid tackler and run defender. It’s all about round out the rest of his game.
