10. Detroit Lions

50. Success up front on defense is how the Detroit Lions have thrived in the past. Ezekiel Ansah was less effective than usual last season and big part of why was how ineffective the rest of his line mates were. Haloti Ngata isn’t the player he was a few years ago and A’Shawn Robinson underwhelmed. Kerry Hyder was a pleasant surprise but did taper off towards the end of last year.
Bradley Chubb gives the team much-needed flexibility. He can man the opposite defensive end position, allowing Hyder to play inside. At 6’2″, 290 lbs it’s something he’s very capable of. Chubb was a force for N.C. State last season with a breakout 10.5 sacks. He’s got the length and size of a 4-3 defensive end along with the desired motor and quickness to win battles in different ways.
. DE. N.C. State.
