2. Drafting Marcus Peters

When the Chiefs drafted Marcus Peters in 2015, many felt like it was one of the best value picks in the draft.

Some felt it was a risk that wasn’t worth the potential reward.

John Dorsey proved the latter group very, very wrong.

Peters has quickly ascended into one of the top cornerbacks in the entire NFL. His 14 interceptions over the past two season are the best in the league, and he’s added 46 total passes defended, two forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries.

Peters is a football magnet, and you’ll start seeing teams throw his direction with much less frequency. He’s an absolute superstar, which means Dorsey’s best move had better be pretty great…
