Fantasy football season is fast approaching, and we have one of your top late-round picks to look for on draft day

Almost equally exciting as the actual NFL season opening on September 7 is the start of fantasy football season. It’s never too early to break down what players are worth drafting in 2017, and finding the late round sleepers can make or break your season.

To define sleepers in this instance, we’ll use any player in the ESPN rankings listed at 200 or higher.

Rated by ESPN as the 207th best player this season, Jaguars wide receiver Allen Hurns presents incredible late-round value for season fantasy owners.

More from NFL Mocks

Hurns enters the “prove-it” year of his four-year contract with Jacksonville, who recently drafted speedster Dede Westbrook out of Oklahoma. After 2017 there’s virtually no guaranteed money in Hurns’ deal, making him easily movable for the Jaguars.

With $31 million still on the table in the next four years, Hurns has extra motivation to live up to his contract. Failure to replicate his 1,000 yard sophomore season will cost him not just with this contract, but future deals should his time in Jacksonville be cut short.

Financial motivation aside, the Jaguars offense has been reloaded across the board. An established running game featuring Leonard Fournette can open holes downfield as the linebackers lean in to play the run.

With top receiver Allen Robinson destined to garner the most attention and double-teams the space for Hurns opens dramatically. Westbrooks’ presence in the slot creates even more holes in the middle of the field for Hurns to rack up yards after the catch.
