4. Buffalo Bills

DE. LSU. Arden Key . 4. player. 16. The arrival of Sean McDermott certainly means there will be a shift in defensive personnel for the Buffalo Bills. Wisely he didn’t try to force that issue in this past draft but it’s wise to expect the transition to continue. One area that always helps the process along quicker is infusing the pass rush with more talent. Shaq Lawson and Jerry Hughes make for a nice combination but behind them it gets thin fairly fast.
Besides that Hughes is well into his 30s. Buffalo needs to start getting young on the edge. So drafting Arden Key is a virtual no brainer. He’s the best pass rusher in the 2018 class with the length and explosion teams pine for. He might be a bit light for defensive end in a 4-3 but he has the frame to add weight if required. Him and Lawson together would make for a potentially devastating twosome in the years to come.
