32. New England Patriots

DE. Wake Forest. Duke Ejiofor . 32. player. 47. Bill Belichick will always be a defensive guy at heart and he loves to collect defensive players early in drafts. He knows he has Tom Brady and after what happened this offseason, the offense isn’t going to need much attention for the next couple years. This opens up the Patriots to do pretty much whatever they want and they do love to collect their fair share of unheralded pass rushers. Enter Duke Ejiofor.
Wake Forest isn’t typically a hot bed of NFL talent but it has its moments and they may be approaching one in 2018 thanks to the presence of Ejiofor. The defensive end quietly became a headache for every offensive tackle he lined up against last year, posting 10.5 sacks. He’s got that size-athletic combination that should enable him to move around if asked, something New England always demands.
