31. Dallas Cowboys

player. 123. It’s no secret that the success of a 4-3 defense comes from their front four. The Dallas Cowboys, to be fair, have tried many different avenues to solve this lingering problems. Thus far the success has been mixed at best. They certainly hope that Taco Charlton can give their edge rush a much-needed boost, but that’s only half the equation. In order for full effectiveness to be achieved, they need an equally dynamic presence in the middle.
Towards the end of 2016 there were few defensive tackles playing better football than Derrick Nnadi. It really did look like the light switched on for him. No longer was he just a big body who ate space against the run. He began to penetrate into the backfield, getting pressure and sacks on the quarterback. Another year at Florida State should only serve to further his development. Give him to Rod Marinelli next and good things will follow.
. DT. Florida State. Derrick Nnadi . 31
