24. Atlanta Falcons
Oklahoma. Jordan Thomas . 24. player. 44. The Atlanta Falcons were shredded in the 4th quarter and overtime by Tom Brady in the Super Bowl. Yes, being on the field for a long time had a lot to do with it but so did having limited depth at cornerback. It showed up at the worst possible time, especially without their best player in Desmond Trufant even being available. This is something the organization must fortify. Assuming Damontae Kazee can’t do so.
Jordan Thomas really started to emerge at Oklahoma in 2016. He snagged five interceptions and was a persistent pain for every wide receiver he lined up against. Per typical for Sooner players he’s a good athlete with solid 6’0″ size. There are some issues to deal with including his sloppy technique work at times, which more advanced route runners can exploit. Dan Quinn will take care of that.
. CB
