Dallas Cowboys:  DeMarcus Ware

There are plenty of names on the current roster who are lining up their legacies for a possible run. Tyron Smith, Zack Martin and Dez Bryant are the three that stick out the most. None of them are going to beat DeMarcus Ware in though. There’s a strong chance the longtime pass rusher will get in on his first opportunity. Not only was he a dominant player for over a decade, he was also one of the leagues’ most model citizens. He was a leader and a great representative of the organization.

It was difficult for the Dallas Cowboys to let him go in 2014. Not that he’s bitter about it. Ware simply went up to Denver, went to his eighth and ninth Pro Bowls and won a Super Bowl. That decision by them likely enabled him to cement his candidacy. He’s certainly got the stats. He retired with 146 sacks, 36 forced fumbles, 26 pass deflections and three defensive touchdowns. The guy was absolute money every time his team needed him most.
