Washington Redskins:  Trent Williams

This is a considerable upset. Almost every Washington Redskins fan with any knowledge would say Joe Jacoby is the most likely to get in. After all he was a Pro Bowl right tackle for all three of their Super Bowl teams from 1982 to 1991. At the same time he was never the first name to come up either among great right tackles of that era or on his own offensive line. Such is not the case with Trent Williams. Long story short is he’s a better player than Jacoby was.

Williams is one of the premier left tackles in the league. He’s proven that by blocking for not one but two different Pro Bowl quarterbacks in Robert Griffin III and Kirk Cousins. He’s already eclipsed Jacoby with a fifth Pro Bowl of his own this past year and the scary part is he turns 29 in July. Barring major injury he still has some really good years ahead of him. Presuming another four to five such seasons, it will be hard to keep him out of Canton.
