New York Jets:  Darrelle Revis

It was hard not to put guys like Joe Klecko, Kevin Mawae and Nick Mangold on the list. All three deserve the recognition, but none of them feel like they did quite enough to make it. That is not so for Darrelle Revis. There wasn’t anybody on the planet who questioned that for a proper eight-year window he was arguably the best cornerback in professional football. He had everything to prove it from the accolades to an all-time great nickname in “Revis Island.”

Truly though he was great. Don’t be fooled by his rather pedestrian 29 interceptions. That was largely because teams stopped throwing his way after a few years. He was that effective. The fact he went to his sixth and seventh Pro Bowls with two different teams only showcased further how great he was. To top it off he got his ring in 2014. It may not have been with the Jets, but it was wearing green and white where he became a star. It was almost boring to watch him at times. That’s how good he was.
