Minnesota Vikings:  Randy Moss

One of those names on this list where it’s not a matter of “if” but “when” he gets in. Randy Moss is the third all-time leading receiver in NFL history. He had the greatest single-season for a rookie in 1998 with over 1,300 yards and the greatest season for touchdowns with 23 in 2007. When he was focused and on his game, it was frightening what the man could do to defensive backs. They literally could not cover him. Not without a legion of help, and that’s why Minnesota was so great offensively for so long.

The problem isn’t what he did during the plays on the field. It’s what he did after the plays were over and what he did off the field. Moss always had a problem with authority. Trouble and controversy followed him a doom cloud everywhere he went. It’s how a player of his caliber plays for five different teams in his career. Otherwise those 15,000 yards and 156 touchdown all would’ve been collected in purple. Nonetheless, his NFL run will be largely remembered as a Viking when he finally does get in.
