Atlanta Falcons:  Matt Ryan

For the past seven years prior to 2016 most would’ve considered Matt Ryan a candidate for the Hall of Very Good. One of the upper tier quarterbacks in the NFL but not at the elite level required for Canton. Then last season happened. He was the best QB not named Brady in the league, won MVP and had his team one half away from winning the Super Bowl. Odds are he’ll continue to produce Pro Bowl seasons over the next few years even after that disappointment.

If that holds true then there’s no question Ryan is far and away the best possible option for an Atlanta Falcons Hall of Famer. Julio Jones is also approaching that territory but he’s not quite there yet. Seeing how much trouble Terrell Owens and Cris Carter have had getting in, the competition among wide receivers is fierce. Quarterbacks always get the favoritism so that’s why Ryan gets the leg up here. If he can get a ring? Then it’s not even a question.
