Fantasy Football: 10 rookies to draft this season
Corey Davis, WR
The Titans were a wide receiver needy team entering the draft this year, and they used the fifth overall selection to nab who they thought was the best in the draft, Western Michigan’s Corey Davis. Davis has the opportunity to be a PPR nightmare with seasons totaling 67, 78, 89, and 97 catches (331 total) for 5,278 yards and 52 touchdowns.
While the argument can be made it was against lesser competition, Davis still shined against the better teams the Broncos played, and proved he could compete at higher levels. Davis is a big boundary target with the skill set to become Marcus Mariota’s go to guy as a rookie, which should have PPR players salivating.
With Mariota’s efficiency and Davis’ ability to grab everything in sight this pass catch duo has very high fantasy potential. If Mariota can make Rishard Matthews a WR2 in standard leagues imagine what these two can do together this season.
