Evan Engram, TE

Larry Donnell was a decent play in fantasy last year because he saw red zone targets, but this year the Giants’ new tight end is a much more explosive option. Evan Engram is athletic enough to make plays all over the field and was known to make big plays at Ole Miss which should excite fantasy owners.

Tight end scoring can be hard to come by outside of the usual suspects, but Engram’s in a great situation to see mismatches all over the field, and see a lot of red zone targets as the team’s primary receiving tight end. A big target who can get up and attack the ball in the air will be a great addition for Eli Manning in the red zone.

Engram broke out in 2016 catching 65 passes for 926 yards, an average of 14.2 yards per reception, and put up a career high eight touchdowns. Expect Engram to be used as a big time weapon by Ben McAdoo this season in the passing attack, and potentially a solid TE1 in 10-12 man leagues.
