Joe Mixon, RB

Whether you like it or not, Joe Mixon is a very talented player on the field. The Bengals used a second round pick to draft him, so it’s evident they intend to utilize him this season in some form or fashion with either Gio Bernard or Jeremy Hill. However, his true role is yet to be determined since it’s only OTAs now.

Mixon’s value in fantasy will be boosted in PPR leagues since he is a very talented receiver out of the backfield hauling in 37 receptions for 585 yards and five scores at Oklahoma on top of 1,274 yards and 10 scores on the ground as Samaje Perine’s backup. Mixon’s skill set is something Marvin Lewis coached teams love to use.

Mixon could eventually out touch Bernard and or Hill by the end of the season and be a fantasy player worthy of a flex or possibly RB2 starting spot. His ability to rack up yards on the ground, through the air, and rack up receptions in PPR leagues makes him worth a pickup in fantasy in the middle rounds of your league draft.
