The Worst NFL Drafts From All 32 Teams Since the Year 2000

Denver Broncos – 2003
The early 2000s were somewhat up and down for the Denver Broncos after such a glorious finish to the 1990s. This is reflected in their drafts. One year they’d do really well. The next they’d falter. Based on overall impact though their 2003 class had to be the most disappointing. It felt like the team was just starting to regain its mojo after a brief rebuild and could’ve used a strong draft to put them in the AFC title hunt. They did end up reaching the game two years later, but with zero help from this group.
First round offensive tackle George Foster was serviceable on the right side for a few years but nowhere near the caliber Denver had hoped. The string of picks after him like Terry Pierce, Quentin Griffin, and Nick Eason all underachieved to a point where they never even started one season. In fact four of the picks from this class didn’t play a single game for the Broncos. Not one. That’s about as bad as it gets for a normally respectable organization.
