26. Oakland Raiders

Vita Vea . 26. player. 28. It’s not a coincidence that the Oakland Raiders spent two draft picks back in April on their defensive tackle position with Eddie Vanderdoes and Treyvon Hester. Suffice to say the position was a serious problem for them on defense. One of many they’re trying to correct. Hopefully one of those men end up solving the issue but in reasonable chance they don’t, then all bets are off come next April.
Vita Vea is a curious creature. He’s big and sturdy like a classic nose tackle but he still moves very well for a man his size, collecting 5.5 sacks in addition to being the best run defender Washington had last season. If the linebackers won’t solve the issue up the middle, then plugging Vea in front of them should get some of the desired results. Stopping the run to set up the pass rush is vital.
. DT.
