Latest accounts hint they still believe former Pro Bowler Doug Martin can regain his old form with a bout of good health and no off-the-field distractions. Even if that holds true this year, he’ll be 29-years old by 2018. That drops a huge hint that the time is ripe for getting more help. <p>Royce Freeman almost made the decision to be part of what was already a loaded 2017 class. Instead he elected to stay at Oregon. A good decision since it increases his odds of cracking the 1st round. Another of those versatile backs with the build to handle heavy workloads but the speed and quickness to be a consistent threat out of the backfield as a receiver.
